On Sunday 21st March, millions of people across England and Wales completed Census 2021 to ensure that local services for every community can be planned using the best information possible.
If you’ve haven’t completed your census questionnaire yet, please do it as soon as possible.
You simply need to provide the information about who was living or staying at your household on Sunday 21st March.
If you did not receive your information letter or you have misplaced it, then please go to www.census.gov.uk or call 0800 141 2021 to get a new unique access code.
For help in a language other than English, call 0800 587 2021.
There is a lot of help available on the website www.census.gov.uk, including support in many different languages and guidance on how to complete the questionnaire.

Census field officers will soon start visiting households who have not completed a census questionnaire to ensure that everyone can fulfil their legal obligation to complete the census. They will be equipped with PPE, follow social distancing and COVID-safe guidelines, and will never need to enter anyone’s home.
The Office for National Statistics will never share personal details and no-one, including government bodies, will be able to identify you in census statistics. Personal census records will be kept secure for 100 years. If you do not complete the census, you may have to pay a fine of up to £1,000.
