Police launch murder investigation in St Osyth

Two people have been arrested in connection with the death of a man in St Osyth. Police were called shortly before 4.45am Monday March 20, with reports a 23-year-old man had been stabbed in Rochford Road.

Officers carried out cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the victim until the ambulance service arrived. He was taken to hospital, where he sadly died a short time later.

A 35-year-old man from London and a 29-year-old woman from Clacton have been arrested on suspicion of murder. Both await questioning.
