Chief Inspector Russ Cole attended a meeting of Great Bentley Parish Council on 2 March 2017 to sign a two year funding agreement for a dedicated shared PCSO. The agreement ensures the continuation of the arrangement whereby a local PSCO dedicates her time equally working in Great Bentley and Alresford.
Cllr Jonathan Hills, Chair of the Parish Council was full of praise for the work of PCSO Julia Brandon noting that the Parish is benefiting from the work she does. The PCSO reports show that in recent weeks she has made a positive impact on nuisance parking and hare coursing among other things.
Chief Insp. Cole took the opportunity to reassure those present that neighbourhood policing is an important element of Essex Polices’ activities and the heart of its community policing activities.
