The area concerned is Plough Road, north of the level crossing to the junction of Carpenters Farm Shop.

Notice has been received from Essex County Council (ECC) that further to the withdrawal of the 77 bus service by the current operator that a new contractor, Panther Travel has been awarded a contract to operate a revised service until April 2016. The revised service will be a five day service and varies from the current service in a number of areas. The timetable can be viewed by following the link at the bottom of this report.
ECC is tendering for a replacement service as part of the main bus service review, with a view to continuing the route as part of the main contracted bus network which ECC provides.

Tendring District Council will be undertaking six weeks public consultation on the ‘Tendring District Local Plan: Issues and Options Document’ commencing on 1st September 2015 and ending on 13th October 2015. The purpose of this consultation exercise is to invite comments on what the new Local Plan for Tendring should contain. During that time, any interested party will be welcome to put forward their comments. The Issues and Options Document contains a number of questions that should help to assist people in making their comments which will be considered when the Council prepares its new Local Plan.
A representation form can be downloaded from the Council’s website to assist people making comments, but comments in the form of a letter or e-mail will be accepted. Please note that following the close of the consultation and once all of the comments have been processed, all responses will be made publicly available for view.
