High Sheriffs’ Fund is open for grant applications –closing date 2nd December 2019
Voluntary and community groups across Essex, who are working to make their communities safer and better places in which to live, can now apply for a grant of up to £5,000 to support their work.
Projects that have received funding previously include a personal safety scheme for older people, educating young people about the dangers of carrying a knife and deterring drug and alcohol abuse.

There will be a Phone-In Funding Surgery at the beginning of November to speak with potential applicants:
Essex Community Foundation (ECF) is calling for applications to the High Sheriffs’ Fund. Grants of up to £5,000 are available to voluntary organisations that address crime, community safety and anti-social behaviour. ECF will be holding a Phone-In Funding Surgery on Tuesday 5 November from 10am to 12 noon to speak with potential applicants. To take part, please call 01245 356018.
