Frating Abbey Pedestrian Railway Crossing Lights & Siren not Working

The lights and sirens at the Frating Abbey pedestrian railway crossing are currently not working. Network Rail is aware and a repair will be carried out as soon as possible. Network Rail has advised that the crossing is fitted with telephones to enable users to call the signaller to check whether it is safe to cross. The signage at the crossing instructs pedestrians to use these phones if the lights aren’t working.
In the unlikely event that the telephones on site do not work, the signs also contain an emergency number for members of the public to use. This also goes through to the signaller so users can establish when it’s safe to cross.
DO NOT CROSS BEFORE YOU HAVE TELEPHONED THE SIGNALLER TO FIND OUT IF IT IS SAFE TO DO SO
