Cut the Clock Campaign
Back in January the Armed Forces charity Help for Heroes launched their ‘Cut the Clock’ campaign to highlight that on average it takes four years for a Veteran to ask for mental health support.
Cllr Amos, TDC’s Armed Forces Champion, and Cllr Platt, Chairman of Tendring District Council (TDC), have arranged for the “Cut the Clock” image to be projected on to Clacton Town Hall next Thursday evening (14th February) and would very much like you, your family and friends to join them in supporting our Veterans that maybe suffering in silence, and reassuring them that they are not alone.
Everyone is asked to gather at Clacton Town Hall at 5.30pm for 5.45pm to show their support – we hope to see as many people as possible supporting this campaign. A bucket collection in aid of Help for Heroes will also take place.
Please forward this open invitation to anyone who would like to show their support.
