Change to Advertised Traffic Management Frating Roundabout ( A133 – Colchester to Clacton Route improvements)

Please be aware that there have been some changes to advertised traffic management at Frating Roundabout for the coming weeks.

Nightly road closures are as follows:

•            Monday 20 April until Friday 24 April – A133 East leg from Frating Roundabout (6pm-5am each night)

•            Monday 27 April until Friday 1 May – A120 Spur from Frating Roundabout (9pm- 5am each night)

In addition, to support kerbing works on the A133 Eastbound roundabout exit, daytime temporary traffic lights are necessary for approximately three weeks.

In light of the Coronavirus it is necessary for Essex Highways and the contractor to regularly review the work programme and make adjustments to our plans and traffic management where necessary, sometimes at short notice.  We encourage drivers to always observe on site signage for the latest information, and follow diversions in place. A new update has been posted on the A133 Colchester to Clacton webpage
