![]() This has now reached a stage in which we will be submitting the proposals to Essex County Council (as the County Planning Authority). The planning process will last a minimum of 16 weeks and will include a planning consultation period, which will allow interested parties to have their say on the scheme. Once submitted and validated, all of the documents relating to the submission will be available to view via Essex County Council’s planning application website and we will be provide more information on this once available. Ahead of the planning application, we are running a virtual exhibition to provide an overview of the scheme. This can be seen at www.essex.gov.uk/link-road-and-rapid-transit. The exhibition provides information such as the background to the scheme, design layout, environmental mitigation and walking, cycling and horse-riding provision. If you have any questions in relation to the virtual exhibition please do not hesitate to contact the project team at: [email protected]. The planned route will leave the A133 via a roundabout east of the University of Essex, joining the A120 via a junction east of Bromley Road. If approved, works will begin in 2022 with the road due to be completed in 2024. ![]() ![]() Tel: 0345 743 0430 Contact us © Essex County Council 2019 edit your preferences or unsubscribe For details of how ECC processes your personal data, please access our privacy notice at www.essex.gov.uk/privacy |
